About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Data Migration Analyst to join a strategic ERP transformation program involving the migration from Microsoft Dynamics AX to SAP ERP.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and successful migration of business-critical data. This position requires a strong combination of business engagement, analytical capabilities, data mapping expertise, and technical understanding. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with both business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective data migration solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops and meetings with business stakeholders to gather, challenge, and validate data migration requirements.
• Analyze source data structures in Microsoft Dynamics AX and define mapping rules towards SAP.
• Create, maintain, and validate detailed data mapping specifications and transformation rules.
• Identify data quality issues and collaborate with business users to resolve them.
• Act as the primary liaison between business teams, developers, and project stakeholders.
• Communicate business requirements and mapping specifications clearly to technical teams.
• Support the design, testing, and execution of data migration activities.
• Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation activities throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Contribute to data cleansing initiatives and support cutover preparation and execution.
• Ensure migration-related documentation is maintained throughout the project.

Technical Skills

• Experience in data migration, business analysis, data analysis, or ERP implementation projects.
• Strong experience in defining and documenting data mappings.
• Good understanding of ETL and data transformation concepts.
• Solid SQL knowledge and experience querying relational databases.
• Experience analyzing data quality issues and defining remediation actions.

Languages

• Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken).
• Dutch is considered a strong asset but is not required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Knowledge of the Dynamics AX data model.
• Experience with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA projects.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), including maintaining or developing ETL packages.
• Knowledge of master data management and data governance principles.
• Experience in large-scale ERP transformation programs.
